Miho Kayanuma
Hailing from Yamanashi Prefecture, Miho discovered her passion for hairstyling in high school after experiencing a transformative hair straightening treatment. She pursued this passion at the International Culture and Beauty School and honed her skills at a prestigious salon in Aoyama, Tokyo.
In 2013, Miho moved to the United States to expand her expertise. After returning to Japan in 2018, she worked at a total beauty salon, refining her skills in salon work, makeup, updos, kimono dressing, and bridal services. Recognized as a runner-up in both a haircutting contest and the Yamanashi Prefecture Kimono Dressing Competition, she returned to the U.S. in 2023 to continue her career.
Specializing in short bob haircuts, Miho creates styles that are both stylish and easy to maintain, with a deep understanding of her clients' bone structures. Her favorite technique remains hair straightening, which inspired her career. Additionally, her experience in bridal hair has made her an expert in updos, from relaxed to structured styles like the classic French twist.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Miho is also a proud mother, balancing her career with the joys of motherhood. 🙂
