Shawn Nakamura is a hairstylist with 17 years of experience in four countries. He was born in Kanagawa and raised in Hyogo, Japan, and began his professional career at a long-established hair salon in Kobe and Osaka. After 7 years of mastering his skills there, he expanded his career globally. He has worked at hair salons in two multicultural cities, Amsterdam and Toronto. He has been based in NYC since 2016, engaging in working at a hair salon while actively involving in hair stylings for photoshoots. In July 2021, he joined THREE DEGREES SALON as a top hairstylist.
He is an expert in creating edgy shaggy textured designs - his cutting technique for a pixie cut, layered cut, bob cut, mullet is extraordinary. He also specializes in barber’s cuts.
