Ab Satasak
Ab Satasak, originally from
Thailand, has been in the hair design industry for 10 years. Before becoming a
hairstylist, he worked as an architect for five years. His love for design and
art has greatly influenced his passion for hair styling, where he finds
parallels to architecture. He worked as a hairstylist at a well-known barber in
Bangkok, and recently moved to New York, seeking to expand the boundaries of
his creativity and experience.
His favorite hairstyle is
shoulder-length or shorter. He enjoys creating designs that emphasize
structure, visible lines, and movement, similar to the way he approached
architecture. He is particularly skilled at styles like pixie cuts, bobs,
layered bobs, and men’s haircuts.
Outside of hairstyling, Ab has
a keen interest in hiking, music, the design industry, and tattoos. Recently,
he has taken up drawing tattoo art as a hobby.
“Send them home happy” is his personal mantra when working with clients. There’s nothing more fulfilling to him than seeing clients leave his chair with happiness, a smile, and, most importantly, confidence.
