Renowned for his meticulous technique and thoughtful approach with +20 years of experience, Kei is a true all-rounder, specializing in cuts, color, balayage, highlights, and perms. His clients value not only his precision and skill, but also his professionalism, depth of knowledge, and intuitive ability to craft a style uniquely suited to each individual.
Cutting hair since age 13, Kei trained at the Nihon Beauty Academy and refined his craft at HEAVENS in Harajuku, Tokyo. In 2008, he expanded his horizons in Vancouver, working across salons and editorial projects for fashion, TV, and advertising. Since 2011, New York has been his creative base, where he built a diverse clientele and honed his craft—experience that directly led to the launch of Three Degrees Salon in 2019.
Kei’s internationally influenced aesthetic blends technical mastery, individuality, and cultural nuance. Outside the salon, he draws inspiration from vinyl records, nature, and time with his daughter, elements that continue to shape his creative vision.
